Bulletin 139 is about bacteria, describes the various micro-organisms and tells what they do, in language easily understood by all. It also contains a chapter on. la boratory work, which gives a description de-scription of laboratory methods and numerous illustrations of laboratory la-boratory apparatus. This Bulletin is intended to give a little instruction instruc-tion in the elements of the science of bacteriology for the benefit of those who read Bulletin 110 and others that will be issued from the department from time to time. Bulletin 140 is on ropniess in milk, its causes and treatment L. M.
