Show Payson Officers Win By Small Margin PAYSON, Nov., 4. With only two voteselecting the recorder, tiheitreas-urer, tiheitreas-urer, and one of the two year coun-cilmen, coun-cilmen, the Democratic ticket with the exception of the four-year councilman coun-cilman was successful in what old-timers old-timers say was the closest and most stubbornly fought city election. Thomas F. Tolhurst, prominent miller and president of the Nebo school board, was elected mayor witli 419 votes against 2S1 for DiivP Shuler. Dr. A. L. Curtis was named four-year councilman with 872 votes against Albert II. Powell, 317. Tho other successful candidates are as follows: two-year eovmcilmen, Robert L. Wilson. "57, Joseph W. Ileaton, .103, Christian P. Olson. 392 : recorder, Reid Persson, 345 ; treasurer, 34fi. The defealed candidates wore: for two-rear councilmen, Sidney Corny, 2SS, David P. McDowell, 355, Raymond IT.
