Show SLAIN BANDIT IDENTIFIED BY FEDERAL AGENT Personal Acquaintance Eliminates Elim-inates Doubt as to Identity . of "Dutch" Anderson MUSKEOGON, MieTi., Xov., 3. (T'P) Identification of the bandit slain here Saturday night as the notorious George "Dutch" Anderson Ander-son was regarded as complete at police headquarters here today following fol-lowing arrival of George Tate of Toledo, federal secret service agent, who knew the outlaw personally. Tate readily identified th& body as that of Anderson, it was announced an-nounced at headquarters this morning, morn-ing, confirming the previous reports of Police Lieutenant Roy Ferris, who made the finger print tests, of A. W. Hamilton, postoffice inspector from Grand Itapids, and of Bert Brown, in charge of Detroit secret service. While Anderson's body lay under guard at Clock Undertaking Parlors here members of the police force joined in preparation for the funeral fu-neral of Detective Charles T. Hammond. Ham-mond. Hammond was mortally wounded by Anderson while trying to arrest him for passing counterfeit money. The bandit was slain by his own revolver, re-volver, however, as Hammond's last act in line of duty was to wrench it from him and fatally wound Anderson. Ander-son. Led by Chief of Police Peter F. Hansen, members of the police force also have started a benefit fund to aid Hammond's widow who was left with four children.
