Show SPRINGVILLE'S DEVELOPMENT TOLDKIWANIS Don C. Johnson Gives Historical His-torical Sketch of Springville Spring-ville From Beginning. Hon C. .Tohnson was the speaker at the Springville Kiwanis club luncheon hold at the Third warrt amusement hall Thursday evening November 1'A. Mr. Johnson gave a very interesting interest-ing historical account of the settling of Sringville from the foundation of the community down to the present time, tracing the growth of the city in connection with the building of the churches, the school houses and business buildings. He also mentioned men-tioned the names of the persons and families prominent in the building up and the growth of the city. President M. O. Packard was master mas-ter of ceremonies and introduced intro-duced Seymour L. Mendenhall as toastmaster of the evening. Special musical entertaining features fea-tures were vocal duet selections rendered ren-dered by Miss Helen Palfreyman and Miss Ienz Wheeler. The connnulty singing was led by M. E. Crandall, .lr. Considerable time was spent discussing dis-cussing the manner of electing the officers of thei club at the annual election to be held in December and the matter was finally tabled until the next meeting. |
