Mrs. Emma Crnnmer and Mrs. Frank Sumsion and her four children chil-dren had a narrow escape with serious ser-ious injuries last Saturday when the Chevrolet sedan in which they were riding turned turtle. They were on their way to Liberty Lib-erty park to spend the day when the accident occurred. Mrs. McKenzie was at tbe wheel and about half way between Sandy and Murray a "road hog" coming from the north crowded them, clear off tbe pave-, ment Mrs. McKenzie succeeded in getting back into tbe road but just in time to meet another "road hog speeder" who was following close behind the first. In n hurried u Item pie to get out of the road to avoid a collision, the McKenzie cur was turned over. The body of the sedan was strong enough to support tbe weight of the car from crushing the occupants. Mrs. Cranmer and Mrs. Sumsion received re-ceived minor lacerations on tbe face and arms from the broken glass. i |
