She is the former for-mer Miss Marjory Boyer. , Boyer-Davis Reception Event Of Past Week Among the pretty wedding receptions of June was that given for.Mr. and Mrs. Edward Eugene (Ted) Davis on Thursday evening in the Fourth Ward hall with approximately approxi-mately 300 guests attending. Mrs. Davis is the former Mar- jory Boyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Oscar Boyer, and Mr. Davis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee E. Davis. The young couple was married in the Salt Lake temple on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, June 26, with Pres J. Will Knight performing the ceremony in the presence of immediate family fam-ily members of the bride and groom. The bride chose for her wedding attire a lovely model of white satin sat-in and her veil of net was fashioned fash-ioned to her head with a halo of Hancock and Miss Gloria Palfrey-man Palfrey-man assisted in ushering. The entire hall was beautifully decorated for the occasion with a profusion of gorgeous summer blossoms including roses, sweet-peas, sweet-peas, delphinium and other varieties. varie-ties. A moving picture of entire scene was taken during the evening by Robert Thorn and James Sumsion. Refreshments were served from a lace-covered table holding a I beautiful 3-tiered wedding cake, cut flowers and tapers. The gift room was in charge of Mrs. Vern Davis, assisted by the Miases Jane Huntington, Jane Cherrington, Dorothy Cranmer, Kathleen Peterson, Jean Cornwell and Delia Rae Hancock. Under direction of Mrs. Leland C. Laney and Mrs. Lee J. Olsen, refreshments were served by members mem-bers of the high school Boosters club of which Mrs. Davis is a memeber, and included the Misses Elaine Anderson, Anna Mae Bird, Phyllis Peterson, Helen Holley and Beverly Hancock.
