Howard Jones, 8-year-old - son of Mr. and. Mrs.. E,, L. Jones of Springville,"and a student of- the Jefferson school, was instantly killed Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock "when he was struck by a truck driven by Archie Banner, 20, also of Springville. . . ......
