Show Home Ceremony Unites Couple In Marriage Added to the list of early autumn brides is Miss Louise Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Johnson of this city, who exchanged marriage vows with Harlan J. Williams, Wil-liams, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Williams of Levan. Mr. and Mrs. Darrol Gardner and daughters have returned to San Jose, Calif., after spending nine weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Spender Sumsion in Springville. S. T. Club Mrs. Lee Sumsion will be hostess hos-tess to members of the S. T. Club this evening. All are asked to attend at-tend at 7:30 o'clock. The marriage ceremony took, place on Friday, October 25, at the home of the bride's parents, with Bishop Oliver H. Dalton of the Second ward, officiating. Immediate Im-mediate family members and close friends were in attendance. The bride was attired in an attractive at-tractive fall suit of blue wool crepe with brown velvet trim and she wore a corsage of gardenias and rosebuds. She was attended by Mrs. Blaine Miner as matron of honor and Blaine Miner was best man. Complimenting the couple, a wedding dinner was given after their marriage for about twenty-four twenty-four guests. They left after the dinner on a honeymoon to the canyons can-yons of southern Utah. Before her marriage, the bride was complimented with a shower given by Mrs. Blaine Miner at her home. Progressive Bingo was the feature of entertainment and the party was attended by about twenty-five relatives and friends. Also, the bride's mother, Mrs. J. E. Johnson, gave a nicely arranged ar-ranged shower at their home for some thirty relatives and friends. The party included a program and lunch, with a number of relatives attending from Levan. |
