Show Wedding Plans Made For November 6 Of interest to their many friends in Springville, is the announcement of the engagement and approaching marriage mar-riage of Miss Beth Smoot, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Doug-las Smoot of this city, to Edwin J. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson, also of Springville. ine young couple have chosen Nov. 6 for their wedding which will' be solemnized in the Salt Lake temple. A wedding breakfast is planned for immediately following follow-ing the ceremony for close family members and the newlyweds, at Hotel Utah. The bride-to-be is a graduate of the Springville high school and L D1 S seminary. While in school she was a member of the student council and editor of the school paper. At present she is employed as a stenographer at Geneva Steel company. Mr. Johnson is also a graduate of Springville high school and seminary. He is a former student of the BYU and served two and a half years in the army. A reception recep-tion is planned for Nov. 7 at the Fourth ward church in Springville. |
