Miss Whicker is a granddaughter of Mrs. Lil I le Lowe of this city, and Ray Black is a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Black, also of Springville. The couple recently returned from a few days' trip to New Mexico and are making their home here. Complimenting the bride, several parties have been given by relatives and friends during the last few days. Mrs. Marjorie B. Davis, Mrs. Marcella Tuttle and Miss Carma Hopla gave a shower for friends at the Oscar Boyer home on Wednesday, where a program, including a book review by Mrs. Floss Phillips, was enjoyed. The new Mrs. Black was also guest of honor at a party par-ty given by relatives and friends one evening the past week, in Salt Lake City. |
