Nuptial lans Of Couple Told At Luncheon Announcement is made of the engagement and approaching marriage mar-riage of Phyllis Smart, daughter of Mrs. H. Ralph Smart of this city, to Ralph R. Olsen, son of Mf. and Mrs. Ole E. Olsen of Provo, the marriage to take place in September. Sep-tember. News of the nuptial plans was revealed Saturday evening at a nicely arranged luncheon given by Mrs. Smart at their home to which close friends of the bride-to-be were bidden. The announcement was made on small cards found in miniature suitcases which-imarked. places for the guests. A beautiful floral centerpiece cen-terpiece was employed on the dining din-ing table. Both Miss Stewart and Mr. Olsen graduated with high honors from the Brigham Young university in June. She was active in scholastic affairs, having served as president presi-dent of the White Key honorary service sorority, and was also a member of the Val Norn social unit and a member of Gamma. Phi Omicron. She has also been prominent prom-inent in musical activities here and at the. university. Mr. Olsen was president of the Gold Brickers social unit, president presi-dent of the Inter-Social Unit council, coun-cil, a member of Blue Key, honorary honor-ary national service fraternity, and a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. The guest list at the announcement announce-ment luncheon included: Elaine Brockbank, Mildred Parry, Dama Grant, Beth Anderson, La Rae Thorpe, Betty Lou Walker, and Glenna Palfreyman of this city; Beth M. Carter, Ruth Paul, Marge Paulson, Mrs. Beth Todd Snow, Mrs. Helen B. Weech, Shirley Brockbank, Kay Pace, Nancy Richards, Rich-ards, Cenella Fagg, Lucy Cannon, and Nan Chipman of Salt Lake City; Gloria Tanner, Gene Hill, and Mrs. Lucille Harmer, Provo; Mrs. Vivian K.
