Show Showers Honor ride during Past Week 4 Two lovely showers were given the past week to honor Mrs. Samuel Sam-uel J. Sperry, the former Alene Roylance of this city. On Friday evening, her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Hazel Roylance, entertained en-tertained at a shower at the Mc-Kenzie Mc-Kenzie home. An interesting review of the book, "Norma Ash", given by Mrs. Blanche Beal, was enjoyed by everyone ev-eryone present. Adella Evans, of Spanish Fork, also entertained with two readings, and Melba Wheeler gave two vocal solos. At the conclusion of the party, tasty refreshments were served by the hostess to aproximately 40 relatives rel-atives and friends, and the bride opened her many beautiful wedding wed-ding gifts. Marian Patrick also entertained at a nicely arranged shower fof the bride at her home on Thursday Thurs-day evening. The group enjoyed games and a delicious lunch, and presented the guest of honor with many lovely gifts. Emma Ullock, Ida Hoffman and Ruth Condie came from Salt Lake City for the party, and Norma Roylance came from Ogden. Others Oth-ers in attendance were: Lenore Weight, Marian Witney, Ruth H. Barney, Genevieve J. Winger, El-ma El-ma P. Liddiard, Louise P. Springer, Spring-er, Josephine Ecker, lone Ostler, the hostess and honored guest. |
