Show Richard (Dick) Wilkins Takes Bride ' FromPayson in Temple June 30 Charmingly informal was the wedding reception of pretty Dorothy Steele of Payson and Richard R Wilkins of Mapleton which was held in the beautifully licWed c'imtons ot Mr. ami Mrs.- . x"".y John Done, sister and brothor-in-of the bride. Soft organ music, lighted candles and banks of fragrant fra-grant summer flowers formed the jjaclssround for tlie bridal couple vlio vore attended by their parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. Ray D. Steele of Payson and Mr. and Mrs. R. G. MacKenzie of Mapleton. Dorothy and Richard (Dick) were married June 30 in tho Manti Temple and the reception was given giv-en the same evening. The new bride mot their many friends and relatives in an imported import-ed polished white cotton which was fashioned very simply with a form fitting bodice and full ballerina length skirt. White stephenotis and split pink carnations formed her bridal bouquet. jlrs. Steele and Mrs. MacKenzie were attractive in grey and aqua blue, respectively. A color scheme of pink and white was employed in serving refreshments. re-freshments. A sister of the bride, jlrs. Shirley Wilson supervised the dft room. Dorothy is a graduate of the Payson high school and the BYU. While attending college she was affiliated with the Val Norm social unit. Dick is a graduate of the Springville Spring-ville high school, the BYU and has completed two years of law school in Stanford University. While attending at-tending the BYU he was affiliated with the "Brickers." They went on a honeymoon trip to the canyons of Southern Utah and will make their home in Palo Alto, Calif., where Dick will continue con-tinue his studies this fall. |
