' I f - ' I i . . .i i i Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Clyde Bride And Groom Welcomed Home After Wedding Ceremony In Austria Home for Christmas are newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Clyde, who exchanged wedding vows in a ceremony performed in Vienna, Austria, on November 24 Part of their honeymoon was spent visiting the bride's father, now an LDS missionary in West Germany, at Frankfurt and then on a plane trip from that country to New York and to Utah by train. They went through the Salt Lake temple on Wednesday of last week and were complimented at open house at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Clyde, on Friday evening. Mr. Clyde met his bride while serving in the armed forces in Germany and the romance was climaxed with their wedding at the conclusion of his two year mission to that country. She is a former student, of the Academy of Music and the Conservatory of Vienna. More than two hundred relatives and friends called to extend best wishes to the couple and to meet the bride, who has come a long way to make her home in this country. She was charming in a pale green formal with rose-bud corsage. In the receiving line with the newlyweds were Mr. Clyde's parents par-ents and the bride's aunts, Mrs. Clara Felix of Logan; Mrs. Martha Mar-tha Hodell of Murray and Mrs. Ida. v. Margaretta Blaser of Rexburg, Assisting with the refreshments and arrangement of gifts were several cousins of the bride and her new sisters-in-law, Mrs. Grant Clyde and Mrs. Hal Clyde. The newlyweds plan to make their home after the holidays in Salt Lake City, where Mr. Clyde will continue his studies at the University of Utah. |
