Show 'Cowpfe Married in Home Ceremony June g In a lovely home ceremony on Saturday, June 9, Miss Cleo Had-Lk Had-Lk became the bride of Charles Max Measom. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Viola Haddock 0f American Fork, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Measom of this city. The ceremony was performed by Bishop E. J. Seastrand, American Ameri-can Fork, in the presence of immediate im-mediate relatives and close friends. Following the wedding, an informal reception honored the couple, with light refreshments served to the wedding party. The dining table held a beautiful beauti-ful three-tiered wedding cake, topped with a miniature bride and groom. Lovely summer flowers also decorated the table and entertaining en-tertaining rooms. The bride wore for the wedding ceremony, a pale green afternoon dress with rosebud corsage. They plan to make their home in Springville. 3RD WARD TRAILBUILDERS SPEND EVENING AT CANYON Members of the Third ward Trailbuilders had an enjoyable time at Kelley's Grove Friday night. Games were played around a huge bonfire and supper was served under the direction of the teachers, Mrs. Iva Hodson, Delia Angus and Helen Measom. In attendance were twenty-four boys, and Mr3. Mary Kelly, Primary Pri-mary president, was a special guest. MAPLETON 4-H CLUB AT REGULAR MEET The second meeting of the Ma-pleton Ma-pleton 4-H club was held at the home of Maxine Warren, under direction of Mrs. Grace Harmer, leader. Marie Warren was a special guest and members present included, in-cluded, Shirley Harmer, Naoine Bills, Marilyn Larsen, Janice Pulley, Pul-ley, Jane Jensen, Janet Wheeler, Joan Thorn, Coleen Holley and the hostess. The meeting was concluded with refreshments. " |
