Show o Local Air Corps Officer To Wed rovo Cjirl Announcement is made of the betrothal and approaching marriage marri-age of Birdie Boyer, daughter of Dr. D. D. Boyer of Provo, to LI. Erie V. Boorman, navigator in the Army Air Corps, stationed at Ros-well, Ros-well, N. M. Lt. Boorman is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Boorman Boor-man of this city. The young couple plan to be married the latter part of January at Roswell, New Mexico. Miss Boyer plans to leave on Wednesday Wednes-day to join her fiancee. Mrs. Boorman, Boor-man, mother of Lt. Boorman, will also go to Roswell for the wedding wed-ding and plans to leave here early ear-ly in the week. Miss Boyer is a graduate of the Provo high school, and received her degree last spring from the B. Y. U., majoring in dramatics. She was president of the Val Norn social unit and a member of the White Keys, honorary service sorority. sor-ority. Lt. Boorman, outstanding in athletics is a graduate of the local high school and he also graduated from the University of Colorado in 1941, with a degree incommerce. He was a member of the Phi Delta Thta fraternity and Beta Gamma Sigma, honorary honor-ary business fraternity. |
