Show 'Bride-to-Be Is Given Shower Honoring Miss Carma Jean Barker, Bar-ker, who will become the bride of Gary Rasmussen, Fay Sheffield was hostess at a personal shower Thursday evening of last week at her home. Games were played and a bride book made. Providing much merriment merri-ment was the making of a wedding wed-ding dress, veil and bouquet from paper napkins, which the guest of honor modeled when it was completed. Refreshments were served with favors of little parasols para-sols over nutcups and the bride openea ner many lovely gifts. The hostess was assisted by Mrs. Clyde Mortemsen and Miss Nan Ette Hyde and the following guests were present: Carma Jean and her mother, Mrs. Harold Barker; the groom's mother, Mrs. F. Blaine Rasmussen of Provo; Mrs. Blaine Brailsford, Mrs. James Rasmussen Rasmus-sen and Joy Rasmussen all of Provo; Shirlene Riding, Margery Miner, LaRene Naylor, Donna Lee, Doris Ann Bird, Connie Loback, Leah May Averett, Afton Tingey, Margene Hurst and Marilyn Barker. |
