Show 300 Relatives, Friends Greet Couple On Occasion of Golden Wedding Day v v ated with yellow rose-buds and white wedding- bells and topped with a tiny bride and groom. It graced a lace-covered dining table on which were tall yellow tapers in crystal holders. Marking the occasion also was the presentation of a wedding gift consisting of wedding rings given their parents by the daughter and sons. The occasion will long be remembered re-membered by Mr. and Mrs. Thorn who are looking forward to many more years together. Over 300 relatives and friends called Sunday to extend congratulations congratu-lations to Mr. and Mrs. A. G. (Dell) Thorn as they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Standing in line to greet their guests were the honored couple and their family including Mrs. Lenore Livingston of Springville; Norman Thorn of Spanish Fork and Howard and Scott Thorn of Salt Lake City. Assisting with the serving were Mrs. Norman Thorn, Mrs. Howard Thorn and Mrs. Scott Thorn assisted by Mrs. Lynette Wheeler, Tonja Livingston, Sharon and Lawana Thorn who served. Mrs. Chester Johnson was in charge of the registrar. The home was beautifully decorated dec-orated for the occasion with golden gol-den daffodills and other cut flowers flow-ers and plants, many of which had been presented to the honored couple. They were also the recipients recip-ients of many cards and other congratulatory messages. A beautiful 3 tiered wedding cake made by a granddaughter, Mrs. Lynette Wheeler, was decor- |
