Sundblom, nee Miss JoAnn Castleton JoAnn Castleton Becomes Bride of Richard Sundblom; Reception Given In the stately simplicity of Kolob Stake House, charming Miss JoAnn Castleton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Castleton of this city, exchanged mar- rf-iage vows with Richard L. Sundblom, Sund-blom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Sundblom also of Springville, Friday evening. Bishop Bert Strong of the Sixth ward, performed perform-ed the ceremony. Later in the evening the couple were guests of honor at a lovely reception. The bride was beautifully beautiful-ly gowned in a model of nylon over sation fashioned with long nylon sleeves trimmed with tiny buttons. Her veil was finger-tip arranged to a crown of seed-pearls and she wore a 3-strand pearl neqklace. Her bouquet was. of roses and stephanottis encircling a pink camellia ca-mellia tied with satin ribbon. Miss Darlene Castleton, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and the broom's sister, Miss Helen Sundblom was bridesmaid. They wore gowns of pink and acqua and pinned corsages in contrasting shades to their shoulders. Paul Nielsen was best man to the groom. Others in the receiving line included in-cluded parents of the newlyweds, Mrs. Castleton choosing a dress of blue for the reception and Mrs. Sundblom pink with corsages of pink camellias. Palms and candelabra were used in decorations for the wedding. The gifts were displayed by Mrs. Paul Nielsen, Mrs. John Castleton of Eureka, Mrs. John Strong, Mrs. Max Knight, Mrs. Lynn Huff and Mrs. Leah Mae Averett. At the guest book was Nadine Waters. Refreshments were served by Maria Weight, Virginia Murdock, Wilma Diamond, Rachel Phillips, Pat Haslam, Sandra Kerr, La Von Castleton and Carolyn Deebin, with Mrs. Frank Whitney, Mrs. Lloyd Fullmer, Mrs. Harold Dale-bout Dale-bout and Mrs. Robert Huntington assisting in the kitchen. v The young couple are leaving this week to make their home for the present in Grand Junction, where Richard is employed. |
