Show Couple Honored at Reception after Wedding Ceremony in First Ward Announcement is being made this week of the marriage of Miss Clara Jean Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Robinson of this city, to Mark F. Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Al-bian Al-bian Hall of Pleasant Grove. The ceremony was performed on December 22 in the First ward with Bi.shop Lewis B. Childs officiating. offic-iating. Incidently, it was the first wedding rites in which Bishop Childs had participated since his being sustained bishop. Immediate family members and close friends witnessed the ceremony cere-mony and the couple were later honored at a large reception. The bride was attired in a pretty white taffetta floor length gown with veil of silk net and she carried car-ried a bouquet of white and pink carnations and tiny pink roses-Mrs. roses-Mrs. Geraldine Wilson, sister of the bride was matron of honor and Maurine Kennedy was maid of honor with the Misses Collette Singleton, Carolyn Hughes and Shirlene Riding bridesmaids. They held bouquets of pink and white carnations and wore formals in pastel shades. Jay Nielsen was best man to the groom. Assisting in the receiving line were parents of the bride and the groom. Mrs. Robinson wore a blue and black formal for her daughter's daugh-ter's wedding and Mrs. Hall a gray-green taffetta. Tneir cor- sages were of red and white carnations. car-nations. An interesting program was announced an-nounced by Lynn Hanks, master of ceremonies. Mrs. Henrietta Early played the wedding march. In charge of the gift room were Mrs. Renee Cope, aunt of the bride and Mrs. Phyllis Luker, sister of the bride and Mrs. John Hardy. Receiving the gifts were little Glenda Robinson and Helen Robinson, Rob-inson, sisters of the -bride, , also Colleen Hatfield and Elaine- Sim ons. , . Mrs. Robert Hall, sister-in-law, of the groom was in charge of the bride book- The new Mrs. Hall is making her home in Pleasant Grove and is enrolled in school, while her husband hus-band is serving in the U. S. Navy. Cpl. and Mrs. Morris Sorensen have returned to San Louis Obispo, Obis-po, Calif., where he is stationed, following a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Sorensen and other relatives and friends in Springville. Mrs. Wtllace Patrick has been visiting in Springville from Los Angeles, Calif., where they moved following their recent marriage- At Mr. and Mrs. Kay Bills are visit-in visit-in relatives and friends in Springville Spring-ville and Mapleton from Camp At-I At-I terbury, Ind. |
