Frandsen Couple Reciles Vows in Lovely Home Ceremony; Groom Returns to Army Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee of this city announce the marriage of their daughter Bonnie, to Kenneth E. Bateman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Bateman of juem. j The couple exchanged vows in a quiet ceremony, at the home of the groom's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Bateman on Wednesday evening, April 20. Immediate Im-mediate members of both families were in attendance. , The new Mrs. Bateman was radiantly ra-diantly beautiful in a Miss Ellite original gown of white lace with taffetta underskirt. It was designed design-ed with scoop neckline and three-quarter three-quarter sleeves. A smart pill-box hat of lace, and white lace wrist-length wrist-length gloves completed her attire enhanced by an orchid at her shoulder. Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Colene Lee, who wore an ice-blue taffetta with corsage of pink matted carnations. carna-tions. Ralph Larsen of Lehi was best man. The newlyweds were guests with family members at an informal wedding party after the ceremony. The bride, a graduate of Springville Spring-ville high school, attended Brigham Young University last year where she was a sponsor of the ROTC. Mr. Bateman is a graduate of the BYU, where he was affiliated with the Gold Bricker fraternity and majored in marketing. He is presently stationed with the army at Augusta, Ga., and Mrs. Bateman is making her home with her parents par-ents for the present. |
