Show " u' Golden Weddinc ' Anniversary Celebra' Mr. and Mrs. Hardy A Springville celebrated their pj,r wedding anniversary last Wednesday. Wednes-day. In the evening their children entertained about fifty relatives and friends in their honor, with a party at their home. Mrs. Averett was born in Buken-heid, Buken-heid, England, January 15, 1867 a daughter of John and Elinore H. Carter Parry. She came here with her parents in 1874 and has lived here since. She was a teacher in the Primary and Relief society organizations or-ganizations for a number of years. Due to ill health, however, the past few years she has been confined con-fined to her home considerably. Mr. Averett was born in Sprlng-ville Sprlng-ville January 5, 1858, a son of Jithen and Jane Singleton Averett, pioneers. He has lived here always, al-ways, following the occupation of carpenter the greater part of the time. He has also been a successful success-ful farmer and stockman. The couple were married in the L. D. S. endowment house. Salt Lake, October 4, 1883. They have a daughter and two sons living, Mrs. Nellie Child, Thomas H. and Norris B. Averett, Springville; also 13 grandchildren. |
