Show Ray Lofgran Ray Lofgran, 57, paid respects at Tuesday rites Many relatives and friends paid final respects to Ray Lofgran, Lof-gran, 57, at funeral services Tuesday in the Fourth-Tenth-Thirteenth Ward Church. Mr. Lofgran died June 6, 1969 at the Spanish Fork Hospital. Bishop Bi-shop Blaine Clyde of the Tenth Ward officiated. Burial was in Springville Evergreen Cemetery, Ceme-tery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mor-tuary. He was born Jan. 8, 1912 in Santaquin, a son of Ephraim and Edith Leona Garfield Lofgran. Lof-gran. He married Arlena Twede on Feb. 16, 1937, at Salt Lake City, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had been employed at U. S. Steel's Geneva Works as a foreman for 19 years. He was a member of the Springville Lions Club, past president and district dist-rict secretary of the Lions Club and a high priest in the LDS Church. He had served in the Sunday School superintendency and had been a high priest secretary. sec-retary. Surviving are his widow of Springville; one son and two daughters, Dennis Ray Lofgran of Chicago, 111.; Mrs. Charles (Karlene) Lee of Bountiful; and Linda Lofgran of Springville; Spring-ville; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Ephraim Bernell Lofgran of Wilmington, Calif.; and James L. Lofgran of Granger. |
