Show Tentative rites set for ilelga 11 Larsen Funeral services are tentatively tenta-tively set Saturday, for Mrs. He'ga Serena Nielsen Larsen, 82, 140 East 300 North, who died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1967, at Eldred Manor, of ailments incident to age. Burial will be in the Evergreen Ever-green Cemetery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mrs. Larsen was born at Sa-lina, Sa-lina, April 16, 1885, a daughter daugh-ter of Andrew C. and Serena Thyring Nielsen. sne was married to Peter Christian Larsen, Oct. 24, 1906, in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Larsen died in 1937. Mrs. Larsen had always been active in LDS Church work doing do-ing considerable genealogy and temple work. She was Relief Society magazine representative representa-tive for some time and had been a Relief Society teacher and work director. Her hobby was handwork, especially piecing quilts and she had pieced 32 quilt tops the past year. Surviving are a son and two daughters: Ivan N. Larsen of Springville; Mrs. Vera L. Johnson and Evelyn P. Larsen of Yerma, Calif.; also two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. |
