Show SERVICES TODAY AT MAPLETON FOR WE J. CRAIG William John Craig, 67, father of Mrs. Pearl HoUey of Mapleton, died Monday at 5:30 a. m., at the Utah Valley hospital, following a lingering illness. He was born in Spanish Fork, March 12, 1880, a son of Robert and Elizabeth Clark Craig. He had made his home in Carbon county for the past fifty years, being employed with the Utah Fuel company. He resided at Castle-gate Castle-gate and Winter Quarters until his retirement five yearS ago and since that time he had made his home with his sons and daughters. He had been with Mrs. Holley for about three months. Mr.-Craig was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. His wife, Mrs. Catherine Evans Craig, died in 1941. Survivors include seven sons and daughters, Willard Craig, of Castlegate; Floyd Craig, Sunny-side; Sunny-side; John R. Craig, Orem; Cleon Craig and Mrs. Brittanica Durrant of Cedar City; Mrs. Pearl Holley, Mapleton; Mrs. Rosetta Burnett, Salt Lake City; also eighteen grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Wilson of Spanish Fork. Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Thursday (today) at four p. m., in the Mapleton ward chapel, chap-el, directed by Bishop Oscar Whiting-Friends may call at the John I. Holley residence, Mapleton, before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by A. Y. Wheeler & Son mortuary. |
