Show Community Church Ladies Sponsor Mother's Day Tea One of the most successful and socially delightful affairs conducted conduct-ed in connection with Mother's Day, was the Tea held at the Community Church Saturday afternoon. aft-ernoon. The church was a picture of spring with cut-flowers decorations decora-tions throughout and the gorgeous crystal and silver added a note of charm to the serving- table. Approximately sixty mothers and daughters of all ages attended attend-ed the function which featured a delightful program. Mrs. Kay El-dridge El-dridge entertained with violin solos; Mrs. Helen Thorpe, vocal selections; Betty Bailey of Provo, vocal numbers; Betty Bailey and Mrs. Kay Eldridge, vocal duets. They were accompanied by Mrs. Eleanor Moss, who also entertained entertain-ed with several piano selections as background music. Guests were greeted at the door by Mrs. Marta Czirr and Mrs. Clara Parker. Mrs. Emma Gardner Gard-ner and Mrs. Rosa Lyall presided at the tea table. In charge of the afternoon's enter en-ter tainment were, Mrs. Eleanor Moss, Mrs. Kay Eldridge, Mrs. Ruth Reynolds and Mrs. Louise Reed. |
