Show UTAH STUDIES WAYS TO LURE TOURISTS The problem of securing a larger lar-ger number of tourist dollars for Utah has been carefully studied by the Utah Dept. of Publicity and Industrial Development who is fully aware of the fact that the state is blessed with a list - of scenic attractions second to none. Some of the answers to the problem prob-lem are listed as follows: the carrying car-rying out of a national advertising and publicity campaign; the establishment es-tablishment of ports of entry at every gateway into 'the state for meeting the tourist and giving him full information relative to the state's attractions; the elimination of the present hotel, motor court and turist home bottleneck by encouraging en-couraging the construction of additional ad-ditional accommodations to meet the demands of motor travel traffic; traf-fic; the improvement of state highways high-ways and the construction of new roads so that motor -tourists can reach the state's scenic attractions, attrac-tions, the establishment of state parks as an added tourist attraction; attrac-tion; -encouraging the establishment establish-ment of better cafes and eating houses; the education of every Utahn to- be courteous, helpful and friendly to out-of-state visitors. |
