Show MRS. GARDNER SERVICES HELD AT FT. GREEN A number of Springville people went to Fountain Green Monday, to attend funeral services for Mrs. Ulcda Nell G. Gardner, 26, wife of Principal Grant Gardner of the junior high.. school, who died here Iriday morning. She had been in ill health for some time suffering from heart disease. Bishop Oldroyd of the Fountain Green ward had the services in charge. The speakers were Mrs. Leona C. Olsen and Paul Walker of Springville, H. P. Olsen and President Presi-dent Joseph Christiansen of the Moroni stake. i Music was given by the choir which rendered "Sister Thou Wast Mild and Lovely" and "Resting Now From Care and Sorrow". Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Barnes of Nephi gave a vocal duet, "Jesus Lover of My Soul" and Mr. Madson and Mrs. Jacobsen sang, "Going Home." The closing number was by the choir "Hope Beyond." The invocation was by Jewell Lund and the benediction by James Robinson. Bishop Peterson of Levan dedicated the grave. Mrs. Gardner was born in Fountain Foun-tain Green, May 3, 1912, a daughter daugh-ter of Richard E. and Nellie May Anderson Green. She spent much of her life in Fountain Green. She was married to Mr. Gardner on June 14, 1933, in the Manti temple. They had made their home in Springville the past two year, Mr. Gardner being engaged in teaching work. Surviving 'besides the husband, are a daughter Nanieve, 4 years old, her parents and the following follow-ing brothers and sisters, Mrs. Merlyn Gardner of Levan; Reed, Newell and Elma Green of Fountain Foun-tain Green. |
