Show HANDCART VET PASSES BEYOND SPANISH FORK Mrs. Caroline Caro-line Hanson Hayes Jones, widow of the late Llewellyn Jones, died at 4:30 p. m. Monday of diseases incident to advanced age. She was in her 88th year. She was born in Malmo, Sweden, Feb. 12, 1847. She was converted to the L. D. S. faith and emigrated to America 70 years ago. She had lived in Spanish Fork the past 21 years and operated a millinery business here for eighteen years. Since the death of Mr. Jones March 24, 1935, she had made her home with her nephew, O. P. Tyrell, at whose ' home she died. She was one of the old handcart pioneers. Her only sister, Mrs. C. Allen, died in'California and was brought here for burial about six weeks ago. She is survived by two brothers, John A. Hanson, Eureka and Nels Hansen, Seattle, Washington. Wash-ington. The body is at the Clau-din Clau-din Funeral home where it may be viewed until ten o'clock Friday Fri-day morning when it will be taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Tyrell, 2S8 E. 8th North street. Where friends may call until time for the services which will be con- . ducted at the Fourth ward chapel at 2 p. m. with Bishop David Bowen officiating. Interment will be in the Benjamin City cemetery. |
