Show PAYSON MAN DIES HERE Christian P. Olsen, 55, of Payson, juvenile attendance officer of Nebo scliool district and former physical education instructor in-structor at Payson high 'school, died unexpectedly Monday at a local hospital of cardiac embelus following an operation for acute appendicitis which he underwent a week ago. Mr. Olsen was born here June 17 1878. He received his education at Brigham Young university, and was employed as instructor in Nebo district schools, for a number num-ber of years. He also taught school at Monroe and Provo. He filled an L-. D. S. mission in the northern states in 1906. He was a member of the Payson L. D. S. Second ward bishopric at the time of death. He was married to Maud Anderson An-derson in the Manti L. D. S. temple in September, 1901. Surviving are his widow and six . sons and daughters: Mrs. Kenneth Morgan, Evanston, Wyo.; Christa i Olsen, Spanish Fork; Farrell, Garth, Reece and John Olsen, I Payson; two brothers, Heber S. and George F. Olsen, Fairview. Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed at Payson, with burial in Fairview under direction of Des-I Des-I eret mortuary. |
