Show ED G. GILES SERVICES HELD Friends and relatives paid last respects to Ed. George Giles, at funeral services conducted in the Third ward chapel Wednesday afternoon. aft-ernoon. Burial was in the City cemetery under the direction of Claudin funeral home. Mr. Giles died Sunday, following a long illness ill-ness at a Provo hospital. He was born in Wield, England, July 16, 1855, a son of William and Ann Finder Giles. He came to Springville with his parents at the age of ten years and had lived here since. He never married. Mr. Giles at one time owned a large number of cattle and was one of the most prominent men of the community in this industry. His nearest relatives are members mem-bers of the Mrs. Lucy J. Pack family, fam-ily, the Elizabeth Giles Harmcr family and the James Giles family- |
