Show Former Resident j Dies In California Amos A. Brown, 60, former j resident of this city, and a barber : here for many years, died at Redondo Beach, Calif., Friday according to word received here. He had been in ill health for several sev-eral years. Mr. Brown was born here March 3. 1873, a son of Edward Ft. and Mary Taylor Brown. He had lived in Springville practically all 'of his life with the exception of a short time in Provo and Salt Lake. The familjf moved to California seven years ago. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Emma Nelson Brown; 3 sons i and a daughter: Charles Brown, Redondo Beach, Calif.; Ray Brown Beverly Hills, Calif.; George Brown, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Ella Iverson, San Diego, Calif.; 7 grandchildren and one brother, '. 1. a. Brown of Springville. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Sunday at Redondo Beach and interment was also in California. |
