Show MRS. M. HALES DIES FOLLOWING OPERATION Mrs. Maxine Davis Hales 21, wife of Reed M. Hales of Maple-ton; Maple-ton; died Monday night, following an operation for gall stones and appendicitis, at a Provo hispital Sunday. She was born in Salt Lake. September 30, 1912, a daughter of Fred W. and Emma Bingham Davis. She was an active church member and had served for some time in the primary presidency of the Mapleton ward. She had also al-so been active in M. I. A. work. Mrs. Hales .was talented especially espec-ially in dramatic art and had appeared in many public and church entertainments. She attended at-tended the grade school at Gen-ola Gen-ola and graduated from the Springville high school in 1930. She is survived by her husband and one son, Blaine Hales of Mapleton, also the parents and and five brothers and sisters; Le-Voy, Le-Voy, Jaquin, Carol and Marilyn Davis, of Genola, Cornell Davis, Mapleton. Funeral services will be held today at 1 o'clock in the Mapleton Maple-ton ward chapel with burial in the Spanish Fork cemetery under direction of A. Y. Wheeler mortuary. |
