Show FRIDAY SET AS FUNERAL DATE Dr. George C. Taylor Will Be Laid At Rest In Spanish Fork ! SPANISH FORK, Mny IS. (Spooinl) Funeral services for Dr. George C. Taylor, well-known Span- isli Fork man who died Tuesday I in a Provo hospital, will he held ; Friday afternoon. Although ar- ! ranements are still tentative, it is probable that the services will be j held at 2 o'clock from the city pavilion. The deepest sympathy has been extended to Mrs. Taylor by Spanish fork friends. Dr. Taylor was immensely im-mensely popular here, where his jHrrsojiality and business activity had made him most promiment. Dr. Taylor was bo.n in Virginia 'City, Nevada, Feb. ?C, isSJ, and his father died when he was eight j ears old. He showed hi : desir? for advancement by working nis way through school and college, lie married Virginia Freehurg of Ash- , land, Oregon, about eight years ago, just before coming to Spanish Fork in 1920. Active In Affairs . Dr. Taylor was an active member mem-ber of the Kotary club, being chairman chair-man of various important committees, commit-tees, lie was manager of the L'tah County Livestock association, and in charge of the annual livestock show which is held here. At the time of his death he was acting as deputy state veterinarian. In addition to his wife, his mother, moth-er, Mrs. It. E. Eoswell of Hillsboro, Ore., survives, as do five sisters in various parts of the country. No relatives residing in this state. |
