Before the first nail was driven, an extensive study and survey of the poultry industry in Utah county was made by the Bonneville Lumber Lum-ber company. Almost every type of construction was analyzed and in cooperation with the fair management manage-ment the Draper type was selected as best fitted to local condiions land climate. The poultry house is i an exhibit of the newest ideas found in practice. It is not a theoretical theo-retical building, but combines all that .could be found of proven value to poultry men. The concrete floor has been divided divid-ed in two parts and finished differently. differ-ently. Every poultry raiser will b interested, because a hard, dry floor is a mighty important item. The inside arrangement is up to the minute. The nests have been built so that they may be taken out in sections on the inside of the chicken house and easily cleaned. One sectipn of the front screen may be removed so that the litter can |
