Show Funeral Services Here Monday for William Wimmer Funeral services were conducted Monday at the A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary, for William Wimmer, Wim-mer, 75, who died Thursday at hls home, 47 North Main St. of a lingering ilness. R. w. Bradford, Brad-ford, former bishop of the First ward, was in charge. Burial was in . the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Wimmer was born in Pay-son, Pay-son, January 17, 1878, a son of T. G. and Elizabeth Simons Wimmer. Wim-mer. He lived in Payson during his early life and later moved to Salt Lake City. He married Edith Drammer on June 7, 1905. In 1920, they moved mov-ed to Los Angeles . where they made their home until 1936 and then moved to Nephi. They came to Springville three years ago. Mr. Wimmer was a stockman until 1936 when he sold his interests in-terests and operated a hotel in Manti. He retired recently. Survivors included his wife of Springville ; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ivy Wimmer Thorpe of Springville three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Spauld-ing, Spauld-ing, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Mat-tie Mat-tie Johnson of Dalas, Texas. |
