Show Jacksons learn of new arrival, son's promotion Mr. and Mrs. John N. Jackson Jack-son of Mapleton received a long distance telephone call from Kitzinger, Germany from their son, Sgt. John Cleve Jackson, on August 16 announcing the birth of a new daughter their first for the Jacksons. The new miss was born Agust 16 to John and his wife, the former Margery Burton. The Jacksons are stationed in Germany Ger-many where Sgt. Jackson is serving with the U.S. Army. Grandp a r e n t s and great grandparents who were happy to learn of the new arrival include: in-clude: Mr. and Mrs. John N. Jackson, Mapleton; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Burton, Nephi; Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Jackson, great grandparents of Fillmore; Mr. Howard Barkdull, Meadow. The new arrival is also a birthday present for her grandpa grand-pa Jackson. Another note of interest with the call was the news of John's promotion from Sp.-4 to Sgt. The Jacksons have been stationed sta-tioned in Germany since August Au-gust 12, 1968. They expect to be home in early March of 1970. |
