Show : Survey of school I enrollment set A survey of school enrollment enroll-ment at all levels from nursery school through college will be conducted in this area by interviewers in-terviewers of the Bureau of the Census during the week of October Oc-tober 19, according to Francis H. Wilmer, Director of the Bureau's regional office in Denver. 1 Local interviewing will be a part cf a nationwide effort made annually to measure the Nation's school and college population. A similar survey in October 1968 showed total en-rcllment en-rcllment to be 58.8 million persons per-sons 33.8 million in elementary elemen-tary school, 14.1 million in secondary sec-ondary school, 3.3 million in kindergarten, 816,000 in nursery nur-sery school, and 6.8 million in "" college. The survey will be made along with the monthly nation- al survey of employment and unemployment for the Bureau , of Labor Statistics of the U. S. J Department of Labor which furnishes a basic measure of national economic health. Information collected in Census Cen-sus Bureau surveys can be used only to determine statis-I statis-I tieal totals and facts about "" each person and family are m kept confidential by law.
