Show vilk- Library 'TCQTQ OF KIWANIANS The wives of the Springville Kiwnniuns were guests lit the weekly week-ly flub luncheon held at the Third ward amusement hull, Friday evening, even-ing, July 25. Dr. John 11. Anderson' was master mas-ter of ceremonies and M. E. Crnndall Jr., acted as toastnmster. The attendance at-tendance prize was won by Mrs. M It. Straw. Dr. John It. Anderson reported his trip to Logan where he attended the recent Jim Bridger celebration. Mr. Anderson said he was very much impressed im-pressed with the spirit of co-operation manifest by the Cash couutvt citizens. He urged the Kiwanis club to take the lead in spreading the spirit of loyalty and co-operation through this community. Dr. Anderson An-derson followed by President Packard Pack-ard who followed the same line of thought iucouraging the club members mem-bers to be loyal to their organization and stick together on every project undertaken until it is finished. Mark E. Tripp, manager of the Hedquist Drug company was introduced intro-duced as a new member of the club. A bulletin from "Deputy Pete," officially of-ficially announcinig the Utah-Idaho district convention to be held in Provo August 19-22, was read by the toastmaster. The community singing was lead by M. E. Crandali, Jr. After the' luncheon the members and their wives adjourned to Glengarry Glen-garry resort to join the tri-club social of the Rotary clubs of Price, Spanish Fork and Provo. |
