Numun Bills / Spanish Fork News A TASTE OF INDIA: The India Festival was a huge success, complete with cultural exhibits, music, authentic food, dancing, fireworks and a pageant which climaxed with the burning of the demon Ravana. Inside the temple, visitors were able to purchase or just peruse through fine jewelry, works of art and beautiful clothing. The India Festival takes place every year and attracts guests from all over who want to participate in this unique cultural experience. It is a fine opportunity to be adventurous and try something new. i 'i Scouts Kiwanis , Courtesy photo / Eugene Collcdge CLOSING SOCIAL: Kiwanis President Mark Nelson treated club members and partners to a delicious steak fry at Canyon View Park on Sept. 12. Choir Reunion The Utah Valley Children's Choir, based in Spanish Fork since 1982, is going to be having it's first annual Alumni Gala Concert on Oct. 27,2007 from 7-9 p.m. at the Provo Covey Performing Arts Center. We are trying to get contact information on as many former choir members as possible so that everyone who has sung with the choir in the last 25 years cdh come and share memories, make music and mingle. If you are a former choir member, or if you have contact information for any former choir members, please go to our web Site at www.alumni.utahchoir.com and contact us so we can contact you. You can also call Ramona at 798-8421. We are especially interested in trying to contact all members who sang on the LDS Primary Children's Songbook recordings. These were Deseret Book's best sellers for a number of years and there were over 100 children from the Spanish Fork area that sang on these recordings. Please go to the web site or contact Ramona so that we can celebrate this 25th anniversary together.
