Present were family, friends, City Councilman Rod Dart, chamber members and board members, the media and Spanish Fork/Salem Area Chamber of Commerce Director Gary Hanks. The Spanish Fork/Salem Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt April 3, 2010 at ^0 a.m. at the sports park on Volunteer Drive. Due to the heavy traffic and construction along south Main Street, the Spanish Fork Police Dept. would like you to enter the Sports Park from the Spanish Trails and Spanish Fields subdivisions. This will help to eliminate bottlenecks of traffic. The Chamber has prepared 10,000 colorful eggs filled with candy, toys and valuable coupons for local area businesses. Please open your eggs at the park as coupons for bikes, grab bags, gift certificates and many other items can be redeemed at the sports park. You may donate empty eggs back to the Chamber. Watch for bins at the pavilion and at the gates. Local businesses have donated all the items for the Easter Egg Hunt. We want to thank each of them and we will be posting a complete list of them soon. We could not provide such a great event without the help of these businesses. Mayor Wayne Anderson, City Council Members, Miss Spanish Fork and her court will be there, as well as the Easter Bunny. The Chamber would like to thank Dwight Liddi- ard and the East Meadows Elementary after school 4H students and the Spanish Fork Youth Council for stuffing 10,000 eggs in record time. Thanks to all the teachers and staff who helped with this project. The Super Saver Cards are here. Contact the Chamber Office at 801798-8352 for more information. This year the cards have 11 more participating businesses and over $3,000 in savings at local area businesses. The Chamber of Commerce and the Venture Crew 1532 will bring these cards to your door.
