Show Nchools WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 2009 • B l Covering what matters most ALA Spring Sing SING OF SPRING: On Tuesday, May 12, 2009, ALA hosted it's final choral concert of the school year, the Spring Sing. Conducted by Mr. Lunt, it featured ALA's Choir Alliance: Encore, Evolution (high school show choir), InPulse ( j u n i ° r high show choir), High School Concert Choir, Junior High Concert Choir and the Elementary Show Choir. To the far left are the Encore men. Pictured near left is Oba Bonner, performing the solo in the Junior High Concert Choir's "Take Me to the River." Below is the High School Concert Choir performing "Shout Glory," conducted by student Tanner Bowman. In the bottom left a member of the High School Concert Choir sings a solo in "Shout Glory." Student directors included Katie Cable, Ben Mitchell, Tasha Newman, Dane Carlson, Dominic Bills, Tori Linde, Leisl Cope, Bethany "Ybai" Hutchison and Karina Russon. Left, Dan Hales plays Kevin Stevens in Karina Russon's "The Mishaps of Monet." Right, Joy Prior, Matt Cole and Kyle Crotts perform in "The Chocolate Affair."
