"the brick wall." The SF Warriors Lacrosse team were busy the week of April 27-May 2,2009.They had their last home game against Timpview and got to play on the football field. The varsity team came up short, but the JV team won. They were also involved with BYU's annual Women's Conference on April 29, 2009. The boys assembled approximately 3,400 boxes, so 17,000 hygiene kits could be shipped. The kits go to the LDS humanitar- ian center in Salt Lake and are shipped throughout the world including the United States, when the need arises. They were able to get the boxes put together, marked and stacked in less than one hour. It really was a great activity and opportunity for them. The team then ended the season with a trip to Pocatello, Idaho to participate in the Pocatello Jamboree. The team came away 1-3, but had a good time. A big thank you goes to Coach Jesse Thorpe and Coach Mike Schaertl for all their work this season. They spent every weeknight and some Saturdays with the team at practice or at games. We want to thank all the parents, especially Wendy Bradford, for all their support and hard work. And to all the boys thanks for the first SF Warriors lacrosse season, it was great to see the boys learn and grow. We look forward to next season.
