Courtesy photos MAD SCIENTISTS: On Feb. 17, 2009 Park School had a Science Fair. We had a lot of participants. Our first place winner is Aidan Compas and his project was titled Ping Pong Ball CPR. The second place winner is Trevor McGuire and he did Ice Meltdown. The third place winner is Lydia Nielson and her project was Teeth. And our fourth place winner is Ivan and Andre Beckstrom and their project asked the question, "Can your car cook for you?" Congratulations to all of our winners and to all the participants. Josh said, "I had fun and learned a lot doing my project. I am grateful to Park Elementary School for doing the Science Fair." SPELLING TIME: Eighteen Students from fourth through sixth grade at Park School in Spanish Fork, studied hard to compete in the school Spelling Bee on Feb. 11, 2009. We are proud of all the participants and congratulate them for a job well done. All the students were excited and maybe a bit nervous as the Spelling Bee began, but they all •tried their best. At the end the top three spellers left standing were, pictured, left to right, Katie Wheeler first place (sixth grade), Brynn Lewis second place (fourth grade) and Rachel Petersen third place (sixth grade).
