The Dons knew they couldn't win at that point, but they played with as much or more intensity in the fourth quarter than they had all year. The Dons outscored the Vikings by nine in the fourth, doing a lot of their damage from the foul line. They attempted 15 free throws in the quarter, earning most attempts with drives to the basket. Travis still fouled out at the very end, getting called for a charge on a tough drive to the hoop. The Dons played like it was the State Championship game, not slowing down until the buzzer sounded and they had to. Spanish Fork didn't have a good season in the win column, but they played hard all year, and they return most of their team. They'll miss Lewis and Jones, but they have a lot of good young guys to build around. If they can play with the same passion and intensity they've shown this year, they'll win a lot more games next year.
