This is the fourth time the Chamber of Commerce has moved in six months. Their first office on 300 North was demolished to put in more parking, and they moved across the street with the Spanish Fork News. The Chamber then moved to an office next door but now they are back at home in the city offices. The Chamber has to move to accommodate all their members. The Chamber works with business in Spanish Fork, Salem, Benjamin, Lake Shore, Leland and Palmyra. They host several annual 'city-wide events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, the Chamber/ Rotary Scholarship Golf Tournament, the Nebo Economic Summit, the Winter Lights Parade, the Scarecrow Contest and many other events. As the city and surrounding areas are growing, so is the Chamber of Commerce and the events they host. Chamber Director Patti Witham expressed appreciation to those who helped with the recent move. "The workers of the city ... have been such a big help in moving our storage and furniture," said Witham. "We couldn't do [this] without them or my family. I just ask if they will work for food; they laugh and of course agree." Witham and members of the chamber also offer a big thank you to 7 Brothers Moving. "We wouldn't have been able to move the big copier without them," said Witham, "No charge — just a smile and 'Anytime.' Clark Teemant and Colt Stevenson were here bright and early to help."
