Loafer Elementary School because of the extraordinary example they set during the month of October. Responsibility was the theme for the month. Students were encouraged to be responsible with assignments, working together, treating others with fairness and honesty, and being an example to their peers. Each student has a specific responsibility to help pull off the dinner successfully and the class learns the importance of working together. Everyone had a fantastic time! Loafer Elementary is pleased to announce the winners of the reflection "I Can Make a Difference by..." contest held recently. The following students' projects will move on to be judged on the district level. From the visual arts category winners include Maisey Motague, Jennie Strong, Hannah Call, Shelbi Oliver, Alyssa Unsworth, Bradley Gardner, Hannah Ingram, Meagan Smith and Gage Oliver. From the literature category there was Dylan McEwan, Parker McEwan, Kailey Ritchie and Madisyn Kogianes. The winners from the photography category consist of Alec Beardall, Sarah Tipton, Ryan Dalton and Sarah Riley. From the dance group we have Allison Lemon, Kaitlin Adams and Breanna Alldredge. Our winner for the music category was Amber Alldredge. The 3-D visual arts winners were Jessica Losser and Rebekah Perry. HARRY POTTER NIGHT: Mt. Loafer Elementary School in Salem was magically transposed into Hogwarts as part of the PTA sponsored book fair taking place there. Many Harry Potter !ook-a likes attended the book fair, having a wonderful time guessing jelly bean flavors, making magical wands, and building beautiful bracelets as well as other enchanted events.
