Chelsey is a member of the Aspen Meadows 2nd Ward in the Spanish Fork East Stake. Her parents are Mark and Maddy Talbert of Spanish Fork. Her grandparents are Bob and Patsy Talbert of Webster Springs, West Virginia, and Rella Carpenter of Spanish Fork. Kiwanis members also read stories to the children before presenting the books to them. "Reading Is Fundamental" is a nation-wide Kiwanis project and Kiwanian Gordon Orr is the local chairman. Nebo Ward, Troop 871, was recently presented with his Eagle Scout Award. Jerron's Eagle project consisted of researching, locating, photographing and documenting the grave sites of Icelandic immigrants in the Spanish Fork cemetery. Jerron is the son of Jared and Rachelle Orton. He is the grandson of B. Richard and Janiel Orton of Salem; Kenneth and Elaine Burnham of Palmyra. Charlene was born on Jan. 7, 1928, in Gunnison, Utah, to C. Berdean and Helen Hansen. She attended schools in Richfield and after her marriage to Vallen C.
