A cougar at a school would normally send kids running in fear, but instead students were eagerly exchanging high fives with the cougar and asking for autographs. The cougar was BYU's mascot, Cosmo. As part of National Walk to School Day and through Riverview's partnership with Gold Medal Schools, Cosmo helped out with crosswalk duty before school and visited each classroom. The event highlighted the importance of finding a safe route to school and the importance of being physically active.
