After holding a public input session several months ago, Dixie College administrators analyzed collected data and planned courses according to the need and interests of area residents. The initial offering of five classes will be in computer science, word processing applications, English composition, American West literature and math. Four of the six class instructors are local residents, with English classes being taught by Dixie College staff from the St. George campus. Richard Yan Ausdal, dean of Dixies business, technology, family consumer science and health occupations, and Joe Peterson, dean of Dixies arts, letters and science, encourage area adults over 18 to get involved in continuing education. students They said that in St. whether are big it George, is for personal enrichment or to continue on a degree course.
